Precision alloys are metal materials with special physical properties (such as magnetic, electrical, thermal and other properties). The vast majority of precision alloys are based on ferrous metals, and only a few are based on non-ferrous metals. Usually include magnetic alloys (see magnetic materials), elastic alloys, expansion alloys, thermal bimetals, electrical alloys, hydrogen storage alloys (see hydrogen storage materials), shape memory alloys, magnetostrictive alloys (see magnetostrictive materials), etc.
1J36 soft magnetic alloy has excellent magnetic and mechanical properties and is widely used in the industrial field. It contains 35%-37% nickel, iron balance, and low content of other elements. Density 8.1g/cm³, resistivity 0.8μΩ·m, excellent magnetic properties, strong mechanical properties. Suitable for a variety of welding processes, heat treatment includes stress relief annealing, intermediate annealing and stabilization treatment. Widely used in precision instruments, aerospace and other fields.
1J36 has been widely used in many fields, especially in fields requiring high precision and stability:
· Precision instruments: manufacturing measuring instruments, optical instruments, micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS), etc., to improve the accuracy and stability of instruments.
· Aerospace: manufacturing fuel and liquid oxygen systems, gas control valves, engine parts, etc., to improve the safety and reliability of aircraft.
· Ships: manufacturing dashboards, compasses, measuring instruments, etc., to improve the accuracy and stability of ships.
· Chemical equipment: manufacturing reactors, distiller, heat transfer equipment, etc., to improve the efficiency and stability of chemical reactions 51.
4J36 is a special low expansion iron-nickel alloy with an ultra-low expansion coefficient. Among them, the control of carbon and manganese components is very important. Cold deformation can reduce the thermal expansion coefficient, and heat treatment within a specific temperature range can stabilize the thermal expansion coefficient. 4J36 is corrosion-resistant in dry air at room temperature. In other harsh environments, such as humid air, corrosion (rust) may occur.
4J36 has the following characteristics
● Very low thermal expansion coefficient between -250℃ and +200℃
● Good plasticity and toughness
① Recommended sample heat treatment system:
Heating temperature 1100~1180°C, holding time 3~6h, cooling system: Cool to 600°C at a rate of no more than 200°C/h, and then cool to below 300°C at a rate of no less than 400°C/h before leaving the furnace.
② Basic physical parameters:
Curie point (°C): 500; Resistivity (μΩ.m): 0.45; Saturation magnetostriction (×10-6): 25; 20~100°C linear expansion coefficient (×10-6/°C): 8.9
